Brief Interpretation on GB/T 32498-2016 Metal Matrix Composites-Tensile Testing-Method of Test at Ambient Temperature

  • The background and significance of GB/T 32498-2016 Metal Matrix Composites-Tensile Testing-Method of Test at Ambient Temperature was proposed, and it was compared to GB/T 228.1-2010 Metallic Materials-Tensile Testing-Part 1: Method of Test at Room Temperature. According to the characteristics of metal matrix composites, the following aspects were stipulated in this standard: the application scope of standard, sample types, testing methods, testing speed, testing results processing and so on. Finally, verification testing using the strain rate of this standard was carried out, in order to understand and promote GB/T 32498-2016 better.
